With more than 35 years of public accounting experience, Chad has built a career advising privately held companies through complex assurance, merger and acquisition, and business advisory matters. Today, he serves as the firm’s Chief Executive Officer, leading Doeren Mayhew’s client service strategy, culture, growth initiatives and long-term vision.

During his tenure as CEO, Chad has helped guide Doeren Mayhew through a period of significant transformation. The firm has grown from a Top 60 firm with $75 million in revenue to a Top 40 accounting and advisory firm with more than $350 million in revenue, driven by both organic growth and strategic acquisitions. Under his leadership, the firm has completed more than 30 acquisitions, advanced its next-generation leadership transition and entered into a strategic partnership with Audax Private Equity to further accelerate growth. 

Chad’s leadership has helped establish Doeren Mayhew as a preferred platform in an increasingly competitive and consolidating profession. His disciplined approach to growth, deep understanding of firm integration and commitment to preserving culture have positioned the firm as a destination for high-performing firms seeking a strong, people-first industry leader. 

In addition to his leadership responsibilities, Chad brings extensive client service experience across multiple industries, including a solid foundation in audit 
and assurance. A trusted business advisor, he is known for looking beyond the numbers to understand each client’s goals, challenges and opportunities. His background as co-leader of the firm’s mergers and acquisitions practice for many years gives him a practical, first-hand perspective on evaluating opportunities, navigating complex transactions and leading the firm through strategic growth, which is one of his most important responsibilities today.
