2 Doeren Mayhew Young Professionals Earn Emerging Leader Honors
Two rising accounting professionals at Doeren Mayhew have been recognized with a Moore North America 2026 Emerging Leader Award.
Michigan CPA Alexa Kuretich, a senior tax manager, and Houston CPA Sheetal Asodia, a senior audit manager, were among the 2026 honorees for the award, which celebrates the next generation of leaders within the profession for their outstanding early-career accomplishments.
Kuretich and Asodia were both nominated by Doeren Mayhew’s leadership group for their outstanding contributions to the firm. Both honorees are actively involved in training and mentoring initiatives in their respective offices, with measurable results of their leadership reported. Kuretich’s extra contributions in international tax were applauded, as were Asodia’s client management efforts.
“Talented emerging leaders like Alexa and Sheetal exemplify the future of our profession and the values that define Doeren Mayhew,” said Patrick Fuelling, principal at Doeren Mayhew Advisors, LLC, and Moore North America board member. “We’re proud to see these growing professionals celebrated at a national level."
Among the professionals’ notable achievements was graduation from Moore North America’s Leadhership1® program, a six-month development initiative designed to prepare and advance women in the industry. Following graduation, both Kuretich and Asodia went on to serve as mentors for the cohort.
