Bringing extensive experience in public accounting, Jay leads the firm’s greater Atlanta office, providing solutions to help local businesses and individuals achieve their financial goals.

Jay joined Doeren Mayhew in July 2025, with the combination of AGL CPA Group. Over his career, Jay has led several industry groups and acted as the tax practice leader within large regional CPA and advisory firms.  He has gained extensive experience in succession and exit planning, including transaction advisory and due diligence for merger and acquisition engagements. His time spent as a business owner and a CFO have provided invaluable insight into streamlining business operations and utilizing relevant real-time data effectively. 

Today, he spends his time providing tax and financial advice to businesses with complex financial structures, as well as high-net-worth individuals around the areas of estate and trust planning, philanthropic planning and succession planning.
