Doeren Mayhew, the nation’s 37th largest assurance, tax and advisory firm, has expanded its Georgia presence with the addition of Live Oak Tax & Advisory, LLC.  The combination builds on Doeren Mayhew’s 2025 entry into Georgia through its acquisition of AGL CPA Group and reflects the firm’s continued investment in metro Atlanta.

Now operating under the Doeren Mayhew brand, Live Oak’s four-person team, including principals Daniel Sosebee and Sarah Collins, has joined the firm’s Duluth location, enhancing its outsourced accounting and tax capabilities for closely held businesses and individuals. Live Oak’s client-focused approach and local market knowledge complement the firm’s broader capabilities, helping clients navigate tax planning, financial reporting and day-to-day accounting needs as they grow.

Live Oak is the latest step in Doeren Mayhew’s deliberate growth across Georgia and the Southeast. In metro Atlanta, it builds on the late-2025 addition of Gerald Stinnett CPA, P.C., followed by the April 2026 acquisition of GRIFFIN Global Technologies, which added software development, AI automation, data analytics and technology consulting capabilities. Together, these additions expand the tax, accounting, advisory and digital solutions available to growing businesses across the region. Live Oak marks the firm’s seventh addition in 2026.
